The Sherwood Park Curling Club will host the 2011 - 2012 Northern Masters Curling Championship this week starting on Thursday February 2 to Sunday February 5, 2012. Mayor Linda Osinchuk officially opened the championship on Thursday February 2, 2012 at 12:30 pm.

Lorna Alfrey's team of third Tracy Clarke, second Cheryl McTurk and lead Karen Pich swept the Marilyn Davies team in the best of three playoff on Saturday. Lorna and her team will now represent our club in the 2012 Northern Dominions scheduled for March 23 - 24 at Sherwood Park. Congrats to the ladies as this will be the third year in a row that Lorna Alfrey and her team will play for a berth in the Provincial's.

Calling all lady curlers... A Ladies Bonspiel has been scheduled for February 17 - 19 2012 at the Sherwood Park Curling Club.
